God

We believe in one God who is comprised of three separate and distinct personalities: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are eternally self-existent, self-revealed, and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the trinity, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy spirit.

Promises of Jesus

We believe that the cross of Jesus Christ tells the following truths: God’s goodness never changes. God is not angry with anyone. In fact, He is at peace with the entire world. God has given us His gift of righteousness and now sees us as perfect, not because of anything we have done, but because of what Jesus did. God gives us His grace, which is his power, strength, and ability to live the abundant life.

Holy Spirit

We believe in the continuous process of spiritual growth of the Christian through the Holy Spirit and God’s word. The Holy Spirit is our comforter who guides us in all areas of our lives. He also blessed us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the spirit.

The Story of God 

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, a revelation from God to man. It is the living, infallible, and everlasting rule of faith in conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason. It alone is the final authority in determining how followers of Jesus should live their lives.

Humans

We believe humans were made in the image of God, but because of sin their relationship with God and other humans where fractured. Through the finished work of Jesus, God’s will for every human being is to experience and enjoy the same quality of life that God himself enjoys.

Salvation

We believe that through the cross of Jesus everyone who believes in the gospel is born again in the Holy Spirit and is given a free gift of salvation. On the cross Jesus became sin and sickness providing both salvation and divine healing for all mankind. By grace we are saved through faith and not of our works.

The Church

We believe the church is not a building. The Bible says that each of us have been placed by God into the body of Christ. Like our human bodies, each part has a very distinct function. The church is where we move beyond our individual lives, with each of us doing our part, we work together to reach all people with the gospel and His love story.

The Conclusion

We believe in the reality of heaven and hell, and that the only thing which will determine where one spends their eternity, is their acceptance or rejection of Jesus as Lord of their life. Heaven is where all Christ followers will spend their eternity, the alternative is hell, which is where those who have rejected Jesus Christ will forever be separated from Him. Jesus will come again to Earth to set up His kingdom, which will include all who love him. This will come at a time which no one knows except the Father.

Water Baptism 

We believe water baptism is a public declaration of one’s decision to follow Christ and to obey His commands. During baptism a person is fully immersed in water, publicly identifying with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. As they come out of the water they are symbolically raised up as a new person in Christ.

Communion

We believe that the Holy communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of him. Communion is a time for healing, re-focusing, and being thankful for all God has done in our lives, both past and present. Matthew 26:26-29•1 Corinthians 10:16-17,11:23-25

Marriage

We believe Biblical marriage has only one meaning and is clearly defined in scripture as a covenant, a sacred bond uniting one man who was born a man, and one woman who was born a woman. This covenant is with God and should not be taken lightly or altered to fit personal preferences.
