Baptisms

A Baptism is a NEW STORY in the life of a believer!

 

Jesus commanded his followers to go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). 

 

Going under the water symbolizes being buried with Christ (dying to one's old life of sin), and rising out of the water represents being raised to a new, cleansed life. We do this together in a body of belivers, so we can celebrate this new walk with Christ! 

 

(At Story Church, we baptize new believers and those re-dedicating their lives to Christ. We do not baptize babies.)
